This web-based application helps monitor vessel activity in a seaport, and provides statistical tugboat performance information as well as the option to visualize tugboat-assisted movements of vessels into and out of a seaport using AIS data.
My Role in The Project
I was the main developer of the front-end of this application, and the features I worked on include the movement visualization option and the movement statistics report. The development was done using JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS and the Leaflet map library. I worked on this project as a part of my bachelor thesis at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, and in cooperation with Maritime Data Systems.
